MARIETTA, Georgia (September 10, 2018) – On Saturday, September 8th, 2018, InPrime Legal participated in the Georgia Cares Fourth Annual Color Me Free 5K Color Run in Marietta.

Georgia Cares was created as an initiative of the Governor’s Office for Children and Families in 2009. They are now an independent, non-profit organization working to serve child sex trafficking victims across the State of Georgia. Georgia Cares is the single, statewide coordinating agency connecting services and treatment care for victims. Staff follows victims throughout their treatment and recovery process (retrieved September 10, 2018 from gacares.org).

As part of the partnership, InPrime selected Georgia Cares as recipient of the $1,000 Wyman Pilcher Jr. Memorial Grant for the 2018 Leadership Cobb class. The Cobb Chamber of Commerce sponsors Leadership Cobb.

The award is presented annually to a class member in recognition for their philanthropic efforts over the course of the program year.

Proceeds from the Color Me Free 5k Color Run and Walk go towards supporting the freeing of child victims of trafficking.
